ABOUT

Behold Him an initiative and expression of Intentional Worship Ministries (a non-profit 501(c)(3)) and reflects the same heart of IWM to return to first love worship by seeing Christ rightly. We were made to worship our creative King with whole hearts.  

My name is Alyssa Flaten. I am a wife, mother, visual artist, author, educator, prayer counselor, and follower of Jesus. Jesus has healed my heart and transformed my life and I am honored to partner with the Holy Spirit as he brings discovery and nurturing of His truth and beauty which results in us broadcasting His beauty by walking in freedom and creating art that points to Him.  I studied Art Education at Minnesota State University Moorhead, have been trained by and facilitate training for Elijah House, as well as Sunodia Prayer Counseling school and am pursuing pastoral credentialing through the Assemblies of God.

I belong to Scott. I married a treasure, and together, we founded Intentional Worship Ministries. Scott cultivates the heart of worship as a pastor at Lifepointe Church, in Ames, Iowa.
