WHAT IS PRAYER COUNSELING?
When our heart is wounded, we can rationalize our experiences or slap a scripture on it, but our wounds continue to fester at a heart level and this seeps out in our daily lives. In prayer counseling, we partner with the Lord to walk us through our pain and invite Him to uproot those things that hinder wholeness so we can experience the finished work of the cross and His resurrection life in our everyday lives.
WHAT IS A HEART INTENSIVE?
Pursue freedom and wholeness during this 3-day in-person intensive or 8 week online course designed to equip you with practical healing tools to walk in lasting freedom and wholeness in your everyday life. You will experience teaching and response sessions that incorporate journaling, prayer, and process art. (Process art isn’t about creating a perfect, finished work — it’s about the process of discovering truth and connecting with the Lord and creating a visual testimony of your healing.) Alyssa is passionate about teaching and leading creative ministry experiences that move truth from the head to the heart. By blending Biblical teaching with creativity, she invites participants into encounters with God through reflection, listening prayer and art. These experiences can be tailored to fit your audience and ministry goals. Where applicable, art supplies, course materials, and guided art tutorials are provided. No artistic experience is needed—just a willing heart!
